Types of Rosaries (Malas) – Part 5

Rudraksha Rosary (Mala): Rudraksha Mala is considered as one of the most puissant, trenchant, and effective rosaries. It is made of Rudraksha beads and is available in different numbers (108+1), (54+1), and (27+1) which are considered auspicious. The word ‘Rudraksha’ has a significant importance in Hindu mythology and culture since it is deeply and closely connected with the Lord Shiva. Rudraksha is considered as incarnation of Bhagwan Shiva. Rudraksha is often a pivot for spiritual meditation & attainment and performing of celestial rituals.

Rudraksha Mala must only be donned after proper sanctification from Mantras. It is paramount to take advice from erudite scholars before wearing Rudraksha Mala to determine the quality and number of beads to be used in the Mala. A red-coloured Rudraksha Mala is suitable for Kshatriyas; while a golden-coloured Rudraksha Mala is propitious for Vaishyas and black-coloured for Shudras. The mala composed of faceless Rudrakshas (Nirankara) is considered pre-eminent.

A person wearing Rudraksha Mala must avoid having garlic, onion, meat, alcohol. It is deemed auspicious to wear a Rudraksha Mala on Sankranti, Amawasya, Purnima and Shivratri. Rudraksha is considered as a portent of lucent luck, fabulous riches, holistic health, and fetching fame.

Parad Rosary (Mala): As per the ancient Vedas, Parad is one of the purest and most felicitous metals to have monumental spiritual as well as medical significance. It is a fetching fusion of astrological appliqué and scientific sonority. It obviates ailments related to heart, blood pressure, insomnia, mental stress, and asthma. It is construed as the seed of Lord Shiva and it comes in handy to stave off Vaastu Dosha and Tantrik Dosha.

Parad is also believed to enhance the memory & concentration prowess of individuals along with their intellectual acuity.

Pearl Rosary (Moti Mala): Pearl symbolizes exquisite elegance and beatific beauty and it is also considered the ‘Stone of Sincerity’. The Rosary made of Pearls is called the ‘Queen among Rosaries’. Pearl is associated with the planet Moon and is usually recommended to people with short temper. It is deemed as a stinging antidote to anger, anxiety, and volatility. It is also deemed tremendously auspicious in terms of attracting wealth and unalloyed bliss. People with capricious temperament and digestion problems are among the frontrunners that warm up to Pearl Rosary.
